(Los Angeles -- March 30, 2021) -- StandWithUs is horrified by the recent outbreak of violent physical attacks against the Asian American community, particularly targeting women and the elderly. Brutal hate crimes against Asian people in Atlanta, New York, San Francisco and elsewhere illustrate the urgent need to bring perpetrators to justice and address the ignorance that allows such racism to fester. The Jewish community knows all too well the pain and fear associated with being targeted for attack simply for being identifiably Jewish. We stand in solidarity with the Asian community and call on all people of good will to take a stand against this hatred.
