StandWithUs UK’s Emerson Fellow, Annie, was interviewed on channel 5 in a segment about the rise of antisemitism in the UK:
“I felt really unsafe, I felt unsafe in my own home, which is something that no one should ever experience..
My flatmate tore down my Israeli flag and has thrown it back in my room and when we had a confrontation about this, she made it very clear that she was not apologetic, that she was uncomfortable with my political statement, even though that’s where my family is from, and we had never discussed politics. And she made it very clear that she no longer wants to have a relationship with me because of how I identify.”
