On February 12, 2026, two young men approached the Olami Dallas Center purporting to be window cleaners, despite bearing no visible window cleaning equipment on their person. Before ringing the doorbell, the youths can be seen discussing the presence of yarmulkes outside the Center, which contains several Israeli flags on its exterior. One of the youths can be heard saying, “Fake Jews.”
After their professional services were politely refused by Rabbi Yaakov Rubin, one of the youths spat on the Rabbi’s property while the other declared, “Free Palestine.“ After realizing he had been caught on camera following his antisemitic rhetoric, one of the youth’s then yelled: “I love the Jews.”
Rabbi Yaakov Rubin stated, “There’s much brazenness required to walk up to a house, in an attempt to intimidate a Jewish Life Center, and its host family, ring the doorbell and say ‘Free Palestine’. This requires us to be that much bolder and proud of our Jewishness and Israel, through open pride, a strong sense of identity and nurturing our mission from G-d. We won’t run, we won’t hide, we will be a light to the world.”
Josh Arbital, StandWithUs Central Regional Director and Dallas resident noted: As a proud Jewish community that is part of the fabric of the Dallas – Fort Worth Metroplex, we are extremely disappointed to learn of, and we condemn, the antisemitic rhetoric that took place against Olami, a Jewish place of worship in the north Dallas area. In coordination with Olami Dallas, and local partners we are monitoring the situation and assessing what can be done to find these perpetrators and bring them to justice.”
Jordan Cope, StandWithUs’s Director of Policy Education and Dallas native visited the Center earlier in the day, noted: “The youth’s mention of ‘fake Jews’ before his subsequent ‘free Palestine’ assertion followed by his ‘I love the Jews’ comments, is a clear reminder of how bigots all too often disingenuously disguise their antisemitism as a matter of Middle Eastern politics. Israel is an integral component of Jewish identity. For thousands of years, Jews have lived continuously in the land and prayed in its direction. Efforts to intimidate Jewish people into abandoning pride for their indigenous homeland ultimately seek to intimidate Jews into silence and submission at a time where antisemitism continues to run rife throughout the West. Antisemitism is an age-old hatred. Anti-Israel sentiment is its newest spear.”
StandWithUs continues to closely monitor the situation and remains in-touch with the Rabbi’s family at this time. Please send any information that could be used to help identify the youths of concern to: joshuaa@ standwithus. com.
