StandWithUs, partnering with the Zachor Legal Institute and the National Jewish Advocacy Center, wrote to the Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights on January 30, 2024. The letter outlines the problem of officially sanctioned anti-Zionist and antisemitic activist groups and student government bodies on college campuses using their administrative-given funding, programming, and powers to ostracize, discriminate against, and harass Jewish and Israeli students/affiliated groups. The letter requests that the Office for Civil Rights issue guidance to university administrations receiving federal funding about addressing this issue in a manner that protects Jewish students on campuses.
