When San Diego Pride announced headlining Kehlani, an antisemitic singer,  for its 2025 Pride Festival, the Antisemitism Task Force launched a strong campaign letting organizers, sponsors, and relevant elected officials know that the Jewish community would not accept this decision quietly. Kehlani‘s campaign reach of 5 million showed a united Jewish community that is strong and proud, and a new Pride board with more oversight by the Mayor as a result of the campaign. The Antisemitism Task Force voiced our concerns about bringing Kehlani to Pride through full-page ads, billboards, digital ads, social media marketing, press releases, and a website with a call to action. We made it clear that hate is not welcome in America’s Finest City.
