Teen Workshops to Combat Antisemitism

Sessions that address the urgency of rising antisemitic incidents.

One of the most significant obstacles in combating antisemitism is the widespread ignorance of its extensive history. This presentation aims to illuminate the evolution of antisemitism throughout human history, tracing its development as a form of religious, ethnic, and racial bigotry. By identifying and understanding the persistent tropes that have endured for centuries, we can educate our communities to recognize antisemitism in all its forms and work collectively to prevent its further spread.

Distinguishing between antisemitism and legitimate criticism of Israel can be clear-cut at times, but it often requires nuanced understanding and skills. This program equips participants with the tools to effectively challenge antisemitism and navigate complex discussions about Israel. By evaluating recent examples, we provide a framework for discerning between antisemitism and constructive criticism, whether in one-on-one conversations or on larger platforms.

This presentation is a comprehensive presentation designed to address the issue of antisemitism and provide practical strategies for effectively confronting it in our daily lives. The presentation is divided into three sections:

  1. Identifying classical manifestations of antisemitism, both religious and racial.
  1. Exploring antisemitism related to Israel.
  1. Offering effective tools for responding to antisemitism.
