The US Consulate in Jerusalem
As of December 2021, there is an ongoing dispute between the U.S. and Israeli governments regarding U.S. plans to reopen a diplomatic office in Jerusalem. This office, known as a Consulate, would provide services and oversee diplomacy with Palestinians in eastern Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza.
