Honorees

Fish Family
About:
Dana and David Fish are proud members of the Jewish community, deeply rooted in the values of tzedek (justice) and chesed (kindness). These principles have shaped both their personal life and professional careers.
As the founder of Workplace Law Partners, David Fish advocates for employees facing workplace disputes, passionately ensuring their rights are upheld. David enjoys collaborating with StandWithUs’ Saidoff Law to fight workplace antisemitism. In 2023, Crain’s Chicago Business honored him as a Notable Leader in Employment and Labor Law, acknowledging his outstanding contributions to the field. He recently published an article in JNS called “Jewish Partners Split over a Law Firm’s Progressive Agenda” that detailed his decision to end his law firm partnership because of his commitment to represent pro-Israeli workers.
Dana Fish has worn many hats throughout her life: speech pathologist, yoga instructor for veterans and avid volunteer with a variety of animal rehab/rescue organizations. She serves on the StandWithUs Midwest board, Illinois Board of Jewish National Fund (JNF), is the co-chair of JNF Illinois Women for Israel, and co-chair for JNF’s Go North Israel Circle of Impact.
Together they have raised three children and built a home rooted in Jewish learning and Zionism.
Abby Fish is a senior at The Ohio State University studying public health. She is planning on going to law school post-grad and is currently part-time working at Workplace Law Partners, an employment law firm, as well as working at the Ohio State Moritz College of Law. She is an active member of her sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma and Women in Law and an advocate of Israel and Judaism on campus. She successfully ran a fundraiser for Magen David Adom, regularly bringing speakers to her campus, standing up against antisemitism and helping educate others about Israel.

Ben Auslander
About:
Ben Auslander
Kenneth Leventhal High School Intern
Carmel High School, Carmel, IN
Ben began his internship with StandWithUs, hoping to improve as a leader by learning how to develop meaningful, high-quality programming and educate others about Judaism and Israel. StandWithUs provided not only valuable resources but also a supportive community and regular debriefings on current events that gave Ben the confidence to take on a leadership role in his Jewish community. Using the community and connections provided in the program, he also helped create Shalom Letters, an initiative that aims to uplift the voices and stories of Jewish teens in the wake of October 7th. “Throughout the past year, StandWithUs has given me tools to fight antisemitism in a variety of ways, including turning hate speech at a local elementary school into an educational presentation for district administrators, covering Judaism, Israel and contemporary antisemitism”.
