The European Jewish Association (EJA), Europe Israel Public Affairs (EIPA) and the European Center for Jewish Students organized a ‘Boot Camp’ for Israel activists in Brussels on July 7-8, 2019. More than 50 outstanding activists from countries including the Ukraine, Iceland, Germany and the UK participated.
Due to StandWithUs’ extensive educational work on behalf of Israel worldwide, Ilana Sherrington-Hoffman (Director of Operations & Strategic Partnerships at StandWithUs Israel) was invited to teach the “Fundamentals of Israel Activism.” She conducted practical, interactive workshops that provided the knowledge and tools and utilized examples of specific cases that SWU has worked on.
Sherrington-Hoffman said of the event: “StandWithUs is proud to be part of building a Europe-wide network of young and engaged activists who want to stand up for Israel and fight antisemitism”.
