StandWithUs sent a demand letter to Carnegie Mellon University on November 29, 2023, regarding recent unlawful incidents on Carnegie Mellon University’s campus, which the administration appears to know about yet has taken no action.These are indicators of possible criminal code violations—which we question whether they reported as hate crimes as required under federal and state laws—and a hostile environment with deliberate administrative indifference in violation of your obligations under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
