StandWithUs Northwest, based in Seattle, supports the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and Alaska.
Since 2007, we have brought engaging, knowledgeable speakers on Israel and the Jewish people to Northwest high schools, campuses, synagogues, churches, Rotary Clubs, senior homes and private venues. We have spoken to over 200,000 people and are always looking for new audiences. We also serve as a resource for responding to antisemitic incidents effectively.
The plight of the hostages, the war in Gaza, rising antisemitism, hate and misinformation online and in the media, and a myriad of issues in K-12 and on campus led us to sharpen our focus on where we could uniquely add value within our Jewish community ecosystem. This report will highlight some of the activities that you — our valued donors and partners — have enabled.
StandWithUs Northwest has taken a leading role working with parents and school administrators across the region, sensitizing them to Jewish community concerns such as bullying and harassment; bias and misinformation in the classroom; and student protests, including on October 7.
Our professional legal team continues to respond to historically high numbers of incidents of bullying and discrimination nationwide, while our local legal committee/pro bono network steps in to provide guidance and support to victims of harassment, and discrimination across our region.
