After the horrific October 7, 2023, Hamas massacre on southern Israel, Second Lieutenant Niko Navon was deployed to Gaza in the battle against Hamas terrorists.
Niko was more than an IDF hero, he was a gifted volleyball player and he had recently begun a loving relationship with Yasmin, sharing just seven precious months together.
On July 7, 2024, everything changed. Niko was hit by an anti-tank missile in Gaza, leaving him with a severe head injury. For over two months, he remained unconscious on a ventilator, fighting for his life.
Today, Niko is conscious, wheelchair-bound, and living with the effects of his severe injury. He faces a lifelong battle of rehabilitation and care. Throughout this journey, his family and Yasmin have stood by his side, offering love, strength, and unwavering support.
Israeli-American Keith Siegel, who survived 484 days in Hamas captivity in Gaza, finally got to walk his daughter down the aisle on her special day, a day she had postponed so he could be there. We hope to see many more moments like these. 🎗️

At just 18 years old, Ariel Elkin from Haifa, in northern Israel, is proudly representing Israel in international motorsport. He has already claimed titles in prestigious competitions, including the USF Juniors, the United States and Italian Formula 4 Championships, as well as the World and European Karting Championships. Most recently, he was crowned Vice Champion of the United States in the F3-level series.
