Starting Salary Range: $24,000-$27,500

Position Overview
The Regional Program Manager (RPM) is responsible for the strategic oversight, growth, and impact of StandWithUs Canada’s university programming in their respective region (Pacific, Prairies, Ontario, or Quebec & Eastern Canada)
This is a leadership role within the Campus and High School Department. The RPM is the primary architect of regional strategy, the lead mentor to Emerson Fellows and Leventhal Interns, and the first line of response to antisemitic incidents and anti-Israel activity in their region.
The RPM serves as the face of StandWithUs Canada in its’ region and plays a critical role in advancing the organization’s national strategic plan by:
● Expanding campus and high school footprint
● Strengthening student leadership pipelines
● Deepening institutional partnerships
● Responding decisively to campus/community hostility
● Scaling measurable educational impact
Core Areas of Responsibility:
Regional Strategy & Oversight
● Develop and execute an annual regional campus and high school strategy aligned with
national goals
● Conduct climate assessments and stakeholder mapping
● Identify growth opportunities and expansion targets
● Set program benchmarks and recruitment targets
● Monitor risk and determine escalation pathways when needed
The RPM is responsible for both the quantity and quality of impact in their region.
Emerson Fellowship and Leventhal Internship Leadership & Mentorship
● Recruit, select, and onboard high-caliber student leaders
● Provide consistent mentorship, strategic guidance, and accountability
● Support Fellows in designing high-impact educational programming
● Ensure program targets and reporting standards are met
● Cultivate Fellows as long-term leaders within the Jewish community
The RPM develops not just programs – but future communal leaders.
Incident Response & Campus/Community Advocacy
● Track and document antisemitic incidents and anti-Israel activity
● Serve as regional first responder in moments of campus hostility
● Support students in navigating institutional processes
● Coordinate with internal leadership on escalation strategy
● Engage relevant campus administrators and partners when appropriate
The RPM must exercise sound judgment, discretion, and strategic clarity in high-pressure
situations.
Educational Programming & Public Representation
● Present educational workshops and interactive programs
● Facilitate discussions for students, faculty, parents, and community audiences
● Represent StandWithUs Canada professionally at campus and community events
● Promote historically accurate, research-based education about Israel and antisemitism
The RPM is a confident communicator and trusted public representative of the organization.
Community & Institutional Relationship Building
● Maintain strong relationships with Hillel, Federation, campus professionals,
and community leaders
● Collaborate proactively and reactively with partner organizations
● Navigate complex political and communal dynamics with professionalism
● Identify opportunities for cross-organizational initiatives
The RPM strengthens StandWithUs Canada’s reputation as a strategic and reliable partner.
Data, Reporting & Accountability
● Track program numbers, student reach, and engagement metrics
● Document impact through testimonials and reporting tools
● Contribute regional data to national reporting and grant deliverables
● Ensure students meet all program and administrative requirements

Qualifications:
● University degree required
● Demonstrated leadership experience in youth, campus, or community settings preferred
● Public speaking and facilitation skills
● Experience mentoring young adults
● Ability to think strategically and respond calmly under pressure
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● High emotional intelligence and political awareness
● Strong project management and organizational skills
● Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and highly accountable
● Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite
● Must Reside in Canada
● Canadian citizenship or valid work authorization required
