Urge Wisconsin to Fight Antisemitism & Adopt the IHRA Definition!

HELP US:

Your Voice Is Needed Now Tell your representative: Vote YES on AB 446!

Wisconsin is facing an unprecedented surge in antisemitism. Over the last decade, antisemitic incidents have reportedly increased by roughly 500 percent. This rise in hate demands immediate, decisive action from our elected officials.

AB 446 seeks to codify the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) Working Definition of Antisemitism. The next step is critical: Lawmakers must vote YES on AB 446 on the Assembly floor.

AB 446 strengthens Wisconsin’s efforts to fight antisemitism by:

  • Adopting a clear, consistent definition of antisemitism based on the IHRA Working Definition and its illustrative examples
  • Requiring the State of Wisconsin to use this definition when investigating alleged acts of antisemitic discrimination

This legislation provides clarity, consistency, and stronger tools to protect Jewish Wisconsinites from rising hate.

Dispelling Disinformation

Opponents are spreading false claims about AB 446. Here are the facts:

  • Defining antisemitism does not violate the First Amendment
  • It does not create special laws or unique protections for Jewish people
  • It simply clarifies how antisemitism manifests today, ensuring that existing laws protect Jewish communities as fully as they protect all others

Wisconsin cannot afford to delay. Clear definitions save lives, guide enforcement, and help stop hate before it escalates.
