(Las Vegas, NV, February 3, 2026) Responding to the growing impact of antisemitism on Jewish patients, healthcare professionals, and medical institutions, the Center for Combating Antisemitism (CCA) will host the first full-day healthcare-focused conference on antisemitism offering Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit for physicians.
The conference, Combating Antisemitism in Healthcare: Diagnosis, Treatment, and Prevention, will take place March 15–16 in Las Vegas as part of the StandWithUs International Conference, which continues through March 18. The dedicated healthcare track marks a significant step in addressing antisemitism as a serious professional and ethical issue within medicine. “Antisemitism in healthcare is not abstract; it affects Jewish patients, Jewish providers, and the quality of care itself,” said Peggy Shapiro, Executive Director of CCA. “This conference is about naming that reality and equipping healthcare professionals with the knowledge and tools to confront it.” The healthcare track will bring together leading physicians, mental health professionals, educators, and researchers to examine antisemitism in healthcare through historical, clinical, and contemporary lenses.
Sessions will explore:
- Medicine’s historical complicity in antisemitism, including during the Holocaust, and its lasting effects
- Antisemitism in medical education and training in the United States and Canada
- The impact of antisemitism on Jewish patients and healthcare providers
- Traumatic invalidation, resilience, and healing within clinical and communal contexts
- New and emerging research on antisemitism in academic and clinical medicine
- Practical strategies for recognizing and responding to antisemitism in clinical and institutional settings
- Building allyship and coalition across the healthcare space.
Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
The program will feature a distinguished slate of speakers from across medicine, psychiatry, psychology, ethics, and advocacy, reflecting a multidisciplinary approach to addressing antisemitism in healthcare spaces.
Programming will begin with an opening reception on Sunday, March 15, co-sponsored by the American Jewish Medical Association (AJMA). A full day of healthcare-focused sessions will follow on Monday, March 16.
By launching this inaugural healthcare conference, CCA is living up to its mission to confront antisemitism not only as a campus, high school, and societal issue, but as a professional responsibility within institutions entrusted with care, safety, and healing.
Registration for the Healthcare Track of the StandWithUs Conference is now open. https:/
