We are shocked and sickened by the murder of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University. Charlie’s wife Erika, their children, and their family and loved ones are in our thoughts and prayers at this time.
We are deeply grateful for Charlie’s dedicated support of Israel and the Jewish People, and his vocal opposition to antisemitism.
As an organization started by Americans, with the lions share of our activities taking place on American soil, we at StandWithUs recognize that this is a moment for all of us to do everything in our power to protect free speech in this country. The answer to controversial ideas and partisan political disagreements is more debate, not violence. Universities, law enforcement, elected officials, and all people of good will must come together to ensure campuses are places where people can speak freely without fear of being harmed or murdered.
