On April 8, 2025, the Dhillon Law Group, in partnership with StandWithUs Saidoff Legal, filed a lawsuit in federal district court seeking redress for New York’s The New School’s wanton mishandling of antisemitic harassment on its campus. The lawsuit alleges that in December 2023, anti-Israel agitators blocked and physically shoved a student out of a university building under the mistaken perception that the student was Jewish and therefore a “Zio.” The agitators subsequently harassed the student online with a campaign of antisemitic slurs and false accusations. Rather than take action against the harassers, The New School subjected their victim to a disciplinary investigation for months, playing fast-and-loose with its own procedures and causing serious harm to the student in the process.
