Harvard University committed “violent violations” of U.S. civil rights and is “among the most prominent and visible breeding ground for race discrimination,” according to a new letter sent Monday to the higher education institution by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Department of Justice (DOJ), alongside a federal interagency task force.
